So you have been wondering what BHF stood for. It is pretty simple. Bodies Hit the Floor was a thought that was just thown out and it stuck. Starting here, you will see some new ways of doing things in a real community atmosphere. We play games based on who we like to play with and what we like to play. Interest in new servers can be given in the forums and supported ideas will get servers. We are playing adult games and expect you to keep that in mind.

Your thoughts really matter and you will get to vote on what happens in all aspects of the community. This all sounds like it may be hard to get done, but it has been thought through and we think we have the answer. Nothing is going to ever be perfect and we will not tell you otherwise. We will tell you reasons behind things that are done which can be overridden by the community.

We are here to get a feeling for things. Please join us as we figure out how the site fully works and make the finishing touches. It is your option to join us, but we would love your thoughts and support.

Hey Guys its Blackhawk again. I have been slacking in getting a news post of some sort out, but one thought was do we really wany a monthly post? After letting it go for a while now, I have come to the conclusion that yes, we should have one. Even just whats been going on lately kinda keeps everyone in the loop. So here goes.

Honeymoon's Over

This is the best way to describe what BHF has gone through in the first few months of existance. It works the same if you are not married and have a new girlfriend, except it is easier to get out of. We are now in the period after the Honeymoon where you sit there with your new wife every night and think, wow, it's only been how long? Every day you do the same thing and think more about how every day is the same. You are eating your new wife's cooking and thinking, she can get better, right? Every new marrige or relationship has a different length of time for this. Keep that in mind.

When you come looking for new information here on the website, the only way there is going to be more new information is if you make one post about something new. The next persone reads it and replys about it and in turn makes his own new post. I'd love to see everyone making a new post about something twice a week is possible. Doesn't have to be a big issue or just idle chatter, but something you see that can change or be tweeked. Suggestions are always welcome and any help you can offer would be great. When checking the site or your email, sit in the servers so they start populating before your ready to game.

Servers

So as many have seen we have a new dedicated server running the servers. The remaining temporary servers with the 4 slots will disappear after their individual period ends near the end of the month. We have added a BF3 server, TDM server and upped Freeze-Tag to 32 slots. Now with the dedicated power running only our servers, we should not really see any problems.

April Goal

The April Goal was now set to $275 after being auto-tallied at 125% of whats needed. This will go down again next month when the remaining 16 slots are removed and should be at $250. Yea, its a bit high, but we wanted to have the extra power running the servers and not be on the same setup with others competeing for processer power. Its what you wanted and what we went with. Be sure to check out the Donations and Spending tracking sheet so you know where we stand and Thanks for all your support.

G13 F-Tag Tournament

The G13 clan will be holding a F-Tag tournament for a couple months In an effort to get our name out there more, we entered a team into the G13 Freeze-Tag tournament. The tournament will be on Sundays at 5pm EST. If you want to be available as a sub, let us know on a post in the forums. Wish us all luck as Dirk, Elmo, Deadman Kymchee and I go and represent BHF in the tournament.

Representing BHF in other servers

When in other servers, represent well and show them how to play. We have a great group that play better then average, so it is easier at times for us. We have a higher quality game as it is and can only show others also by how we act. Respect others rules and be friendly to other players. Invite them to our TeamSpeak for added laughs and show them a good time.

February Goal

So you see we started a new for the goal for March payments. Now you ask, why the higher goal? If you look at the Spreadsheet everything is listed and then then goal is auto-tallied as to what it should be. Think of it this way, we also have an additional 10 slots in FFA and also showed the total costs of everything in the sheet. The new 125% auto-tallied goal is $175. If we use the same services we currently have, we would end up ahead again. Now keep in mind no one is required to donate anything, we donate to keep this place as a place we can be proud of to call home. We like being able to say what we think and have our thoughts known.

Servers

So where do we stand a month later after starting the group? We have learned a bit about the security of our servers. We survived server attacks and only grow stronger knowing that we can move forward stronger then we were before. We came together when questioned about mods and money. We are already leading the way for how things should be done and how they will be done in the future. That is why they all keep coming back here to check us out. We started a FFA server that has gained momentum and gone from just a few to needing another ten slots. This is great exposure and will help many others follow and try the other servers. We will continue to move forward and we shall start to see new things and ideas as others join. Fill the servers as often as you can, that is how we continue to grow.

New Logo

We have asked Phasmatis to help make us a logo. You may know him better as SpecOpsBobby, but he wants to start using a new name that he made here. He has been working on this off and on for a bit and we have come up with this for now. The new logo is not fully in use and may be updated a bit more. For now, we will add this to the x-fire page, Steam group, and other places as we can use it. We may integrate it into the website, but have to see what we can do. Phasmatis, Bobby, does this for a living in his company "THiNK Creative". If you need some design work done, he may be able to help you out. Send him a PM or hit him on x-fire.
